lots to talk about!

First off… I’d like to show you this:

babyblanket

This is the fully finished product of the mitered square baby blanket I made for baby Ryan (baby mama: Danielle!). I cannot explain to you enough how stinking proud I am of this blanket and I love that I made for a dear friend and her third child. I am lucky to have friends who can work a sewing machine and thanks to a fellow knitter Heather, I begged and pleaded her, in her last few weeks of pregnancy no less, to put the back lining on the blanket. I tried, I really did..but I failed. Wednesday night at knit night, when she showed me, the whole thing put together took my breath away – it is by far the best thing I think I have ever made, and as frustrating as it was at time, and there is a mistake here & there… a lot of love went into it. It has been delivered and D fell in love with it as much as I did.
YAY BABY BLANKET!

and speaking of baby’s. I made this last week.. you saw it before but here is another photo with all the buttons in place. SWEET!

and then!!! tomorrow. TOMORROW. TOMORROW! me and my friends are loading up and heading out to RHINEBECK! it is the mecca of all things yarn & fiber. We’re going down for the day and I am OVER THE MOON excited about it. Oh yes, there will be pictures!

and … GO RED SOX. We’re headed back down to STOOPID Tampa Bay to shove those stupid cowbells UP their arses!

Truly awesome. One of us better learn how to line the back of baby blankets quick, for when Heather leaves us to start parenting.
