oh crap

… well. it’s time to admit defeat. it’s cold outside.

I love fall, I really do. I love decorating for Halloween..(if Mr. Knitpho is reading this, this is my request for you to get all my stuff out O the attic, please!) I love going apple picking with my offspring and now that I consider myself ‘active’ and maybe even possibly fall under the category of “runner”, outside takes on a whole new meaning. On Thursday morning, I laced up my shoes and off I went. The air was crisp and with each intake of breath, I could feel the sharp cleanse of my lungs and really loved every huff & puff that I took. As i trekked up my long ass hill and collapsed on my front steps, I gave myself a nice little pat on the back and took a look around the leaves were blowing… at that little moment, I appreciated everything all at once.

This weekend brings time together with my knitting peeps, as we are in a mission to complete something for one of our other fellow knitters who is not doing so well. On a higher note, wish Mr. Knitpho good luck, as he’ll be running a 10mile road race tomorrow and of course we’ll be there as his biggest fans cheering him on.

The coffee awaits and so does my knitting. Have a fantastical weekend.

I’m not ready for the colder weather, but I do have to admit it is a really beautiful time of the year. Good for you with your running and good luck to your hubby in his race.
