hello!

oh my. has this bloggy taken a hit to the kneecaps or what? there just hasn’t been much going on over yonder at Chez Knitpho – So.. here’s a little wrap up and a little insight on what I’ve been up and what my eyes have seen.
We are back full swing into ballet and swim. Different parents, same stupidity. Not AS bad as the floor licker from last session, but close. These moms are excuse maker moms. You know the ones, their kids are allowed to act like assholes because they’re ‘tired’, ‘thirsty’, ‘hungry’.. ummm.. hi I’m tired, thirsty and hungry most of the time – but you don’t see me banging on the door to the ballet room or pouring all the water out of the water dispenser thing…. come on – get a grip. Last week, I had to say something, because they were playing tag .. and kept tripping over my feet..and I had finally had enough after the third run in.. and the moms we’re saying, ‘my, they are active today!’ and these are the same kids who can’t listen in class and the teacher has to keep stopping class to come get the moms to get their kids shit together, and before you know… times up and my kid misses out. So, yeah. I said something. It’ll be interesting today, when I go with my tazer gun.
Oh oh.. and one of the ladies whipped out her boob.. FULL BOOB right in front of my 10year old son – to nurse her almost 2 year old. Ummm. I’m all about breastfeeding, but show some discretion, especially at the Y when your sitting at the YOUTH/TEEN room that contains mostly all young boys.
oh.. to the moms at the park who sat on their asses the whole time while your kids threw sand & dirt at all the other kids.. your lucky that mine didn’t get hit with that.. if I see them doing it again next time I go.. I’m gonna key your mini-vans!
I got to go outlast night with my knitting peeps. We had a babyshower for two of our ladies who are expecting.. and ofcourse we do it up right, and went to the bar. Drank yummy delicious beers in front of the two who couldn’t, how nice are we?
That’s about it from these trenches. I’m looking forward to pizza and wine and a movie tonite with my main man – and doing a whole lotta knitting and relaxing over the next two days.
Have a great weekend!

I’ll help you key the minivans.
I hate those moms. and there are so many of them in the world these days.
breastfeeding a two year old is just not right.. especially in public with young boys around. can you imagine me breastfeeding Alana.. that would be wrong and setting her up for serious issues later on in life.
Glad you had fun at your knitters night out. I rang in my 28th birthday with two kids, a hubby, cheesecake and the presidential debate.. did I turn 28 or 50… come on.. actually it was all I needed!
ha ha ha! Well I know what mom I am *not* going to be!
Yeah. I hear you. I had to ask a little boy to stop blocking Georgia from climbing the ladder with his feet up the playground equipment at the park last week while his father chatted it up with another dad. This was after his little sister asked me to push her on the swing and help her climb up the monkey bars. It’s just not the dumb moms. It’s dumb dads that are married to the dumb moms.
I’ve been busy too, but thank goodness I don’t have to put up with what you have been dealing with…poor Melody….Good Luck getting those parents in line!!!
Hope you’re enjoying your weekend
Dumb parents. I swear, why do some folks have kids except to ignore them? I hate it. Good for you for speaking up!!
Sounds like you will have some more interesting stories this season. Good for your fans, not so good for you.
Hope your weekend was a blast!!
