very good weekend…

Great weekend.. no knitting.. well, maybe a wee bit.. but that’s just about it. Saturday & Sunday were up before 7.. which for me is just TOO EARLY and we packed up and headed into Boston. Saturday, Mr. Knitpho ran a 5miler 
and we enjoyed good times by the Seaport in Boston into the afternoon. Ummm.. Free Beer? Free Food? How could you go wrong?
.. Sunday .. we were up and at ‘em early again, this time , two races. One for each M. Except, I was a nimrod and didn’t get the right address and were in the wrong place ..and barely made it for Miles 1.2 jaunt. Which he did great in an impressive 9:53 and came in third in his age group of 10-11 year olds!
We were so stinking proud of that boy!!
And then there was Mia..who ran a 100m dash with a bunch of other crazy 3 year old boys & girls. She told us before she started “I’m gonna win this thing!” and that she did. She was in first all the way, until she panicked and a didn’t know when to stop.. a boy passed her right at the end, but she was the top girl finisher in the race. WOOOOT.
Both of the kids received medals… and we just could not be more proud of the little monsters!
Now… off to finish that baby blanket.. yeah yeah yeah.. Im still not done. I know I know!

I’m not finished cooking the baby, so don’t worry about the blanket! Having awesome kids is a little annoying, you know.
