Monday… again!

 

What a wonderful weekend for our little girl.  She had a fabulous birthday of shopping ..lunching .. and eating ice cream cake and pure celebration of turning 3!  Thanks for all your birthday wishes for her!!   Does it get any better?  As Monday rolled around, Mr. Knitpho enjoyed his weekend ending his week long vacation.  We watched baseball and football … and we’ll watch more baseball this week.  It’ a big week for the Red Sox.. and what makes it so much more fun, that that Rockies & the D’Backs all have chance.. all my families fave teams.. so everyone has major baseball fever.

So after a weekend of celebrating and the recouperating.. (ugh!) .. I started a new knitting project.  I have this yummy YARNPIRATE yarn… “CALAMITY” and it’s super soft and just oooh so cozy.

this is the second go around of the Broadripple sock.  I started one and made fast progress since they were on 3′s.. which seemed HUGE after working on those 1′s the last time.. but alas.. 3′s were too big and I had to frog and move down a notch to 2′s.  I’m happy with the gauge on 2′s.. and these socks should move quickly since it’s a two row pattern repeat.

My head is full of lists of things I want to make for that holiday that sneaks up on us every year in December.  However, I will have to pick and choose, because I can’t do it all, I’ve tried.

This lady HAS to get back to the gym.. two weeks off!  EEK.. so I am going to put my knitting away — get my butt in gear and head out before I crawl back under the covers where it’s cozy warm.
