Fall in New England.. it is wonderful — even with the temps in the 80′s! Our weekend brought not a lot of time together as a family — we all seemed to have our own agendas and obligations. Everyone just wanted to relax and not be rushed to do much. Ofcourse the Patriots were on yesterday…and the Red Sox..but we don’t talk about sports! So I knitted! Like a madwoman!
Friday night it didn’t start off good. I am in the midst of making a pair of legwarmers..and for the life of me was unable to connect to knit in the round. So I chucked it across the room and yelled I AM NEVER KNITTING AGAIN! S just pointed, laughed then rolled his eyes and he’s heard this cry of frustration before. I took a deep breath, poured a glass of wine and whammo-bammo…
I have a hefty number of a goal to make of these little guys..and they take under two hours.. so.. I should have enough by Christmas! Unless I burnout, which is more than possible!
Then.. Saturday I started on one thing that I worked on most of the day Saturday. The knitting stayed out so I could just sit and start whenever time allowed. I stayed up late, I was a woman on a mission. Same with yesterday. Most of my morning..a break for soccer in the afternoon and back to more knitting while we watch my boyfriend Tom Brady. This is what I have thus far..
That’s all I’m showing you for now.. I’m sure a chunk of you know what I’m going for here, but you’ll see the finale hopefully later today or first thing in the morning, since it is Monday after all, and my to do list is a mile long. (as she sits here and moves really slow, as not to start her day!)

Ooh, can’t wait to see!! You’re a knitting wonder. I frogged a scarf twice last night. Friggin’ scarf. What a knitting wussy I am…I bow at your feet!!
I lurv your little sweater. Where did you get the pattern?
