on the mend …

First off, thank you all very much for the support and well wishes you guys sent my way. It’s nice to know you have a little love being sent your way from all over. We all have been there when someone we love and care about is so sick and all you can do is just be there. So.. again, thanks for that! We have moved on from the virus that struck our house and left one of my two kids in a total state of grossness. Mia bounced back right away and was up and around in no time. Miles on the other hand, lost 3.5 pounds. He had no eaten since Tuesday night at dinner!! His stomach is grumbling so loud, you’d swear a monster was living inside of him. But, he’s home again from school today.. because well it ain’t over, til it’s over.
What I did yesterday in between you know what. (ick) I needed something quick, mindless and easy to do. Since i had only a few hours of sleep, and there was no way I could nap… and NO way I could read.. I dug through the stash and found some LionBrand Quick & Thick ..and whipped up a scarf.
I’ve made this a bunch of times before..and have given them all away. This one is for me.. since soccer season started and it just might get a little chilly out there on the field. I have to have something handknitted, while I am knitting & watching. What kind of soccer knitter mom would I be otherwise.
I have lots of catching up today on just stuff around the house and lysoling everything they touched. GA-ROSS! Thanks again you guys for sending good vibes toward the offspring and helping me survive the day. Even when I wanted to run away and hop a plane to the ATL.

Glad to hear everyone is on the mend! =)
Cute scarf for bulky yarn. What pattern did you use?
What a nice scarf! So sorry about Miles. Poor baby
Sending well wishes his way!
Oh I hope all are on the way to total health! And to chime in here, I LOVE the scarf you made me last year!! I’m ready for the cool temps to come so I can don it…everyone always asked if i made it (and no I didn’t lie and say I did…I said it was all Miss Melody’s talent!)
Lysol everything!!
