SICK!

Sick.. as in sick. Two kids. Throwing up. Most of the night. Jealous much? Isn’t this one of the loveliest jobs we get as parents. Hey, I can hold anyones hair back any day of the week… I’m there for you. But when your two years old and you have no idea that your supposed to throw up in the toilet and decide to do all over your bedroom .. that really does push the limit.
Big yawns this morning as it was limited sleep for this mom. I am going to brew a nice big pot O coffee. Pour gatorade for my poor babies and find a movie they can both watch. I will NOT work on my sock, but I will find something a little bit eaiser and quick moving to do today… as it looks like I’m in for the long haul. I foolishly sent S on his way to work … now I’m stuck home alone with two kids who are both having major belly issues. My bad.
Yesterday, however.. I did work on my sock and it took a field trip to the Y. Miles took his swim lessons and I knitted. But.. while he was ready to jump from one of the higher diving boards into the 10 feet end .. I missed it. Because I was taking knitting the sock. He has 7 more lessons.. I’ll catch it next time.
Ok. Motherhood duties are banging down my door and I guess it’s time to face the music.
I hope the kiddies get better soon and YOU don’t get the sickies! Although, I often find no matter how careful I am to wash hands and clean up after little ones I inevitably get sick too. Sending you good vibes.
Awe! Sorry to hear the kids aren’t feeling well. I bet it’s wonderful to hear the soothing sounds of wretching

Oh Hon! I am sorry to hear that!!!! I am not sure who it is worse on, the mom or the kids.
So sorry to hear BOTH your kiddos are sick. I sure hope they feel better real soon. You better rest up and be careful you don’t get sick, too. They need you (I know I really sound more like your mother here
We have colds here, nothing big, but it inevitably goes right through the whole house no matter how careful I am.

Man, I hate it when they don’t know how to make it to the toilet! There’s nothing I hate more than cleaning puke off the carpet. You have my sympathies.
