How in heck is it Friday again already? It is scary when time goes by this fast!! I can’t keep up. Well, Thursday came and went with a little bit more practice on the ol embroidery. I get lots o knots.. the back of the work is horrendous and I need to learn to get that nice & tidy as well as making the front presentable at the same time. Knitting is MUCH easier. But, I shall keep at it. This is what I did so far.. I did everything but the cloud.. I would do the work and hate it, so I’d rip it out…and do it again and again. By the time I was somewhat satisfied with what you see here — 
ignore the yellow on it, that was what I traced the pattern with so I could actually see what I was doing. After doing this for a while, I found the cutest stuff (more stuff) I’d love to make. knitting. My queue on my Ravelry gets bigger and bigger and bigger by the day. I have yet to start the sweater for Mia .. and I better get on that. I put it off, considering it’s going to be in the high 80′s with a jillion percent humidity over the weekend, but at the same time.. we are starting to see the leaves change and fall to the ground.
The weekend is another one jam packed full of family fun. I tell ya.. the fun never stops.

Looks good! And I feel your pain on the growing queue. I am having an issue with sock yarn stash taking over lately, and I have absolutely no time to knit anything besides washcloths.

Embroidery is so much better to work with than yarn in hot weather. You are doing great. Keep up the good work.
Once I saw a beautiful t-shirt someone made with embroidered flowers all over it…it was fabulous. Wish I had a picture if it. There is so much you can do with embroidery even in combination with knitting. Most of all have fun with it!
