Ok. it’s not as easy it looked. I have to remember that I can’t be perfect at embroidery the first time I ever try it.. but screw that. I WANT TO BE PERFECT AT EMBROIDERY RIGHT NOW! Tea Towels for everyone! Once I get the freakin’ needle threaded, I should be good to go.
My amiga Danielle came over, without her soon to be 4 year old boy.. Mia’s buddy.. since he started pre-k ..she’s rockin’ the free world an was able to come and sit and enjoy your badass self. We drank coffee. We ate cinnabons. We traced, we learned, we embroidered. She did really well. Show off. She almost finished her whole pattern. What was I doing the whole time, she was stitchin’ it up? Oh, I was trying to thread my needle. Dumbass. But, like a good friend does, she pointed and laughed. What-evs.
So, I think I’ll like this new little craft once I get the hang of it. What is that saying about practicing and perfection? Or Patience being a virtue? Those things that I say to my kids all the time. Or that other saying that I love to hate… “practice what you preach!”
Off I go to try and thread my needle again.

I was not laughing AT you, I was laughing WITH you. Except you weren’t laughing. hmm. You will soon master this as you have mastered the knit. I’m sure of it.
Practice makes perfect! Keep trying! You’ll get the hang of it! I LOVE me some cinnabons.
I wish you could come over here and drink coffee and eat cinnabons with me.
I can’t stop thinking about cinnabons now.
Did someone say cinnabons?
I will have a list of embroidery gifts for this Christmas, for ME, by tomorrow… okay?!?!
Good job on your first try!!!
Keep at it!! You’ll get the hang of it. I with I could eat cinnabuns and drink coffee and stitch with you.
It totally looks like you are whipping my heinie already on the embroidery! that looks great to me!
Looks great. It will get easier the more you do it.
