STUPID SOCKS!!!

so, a few weeks ago .. i thought i would start to tackle those bloody double pointed needles. they are evil. 4 sticks, points and both ends, cast ons on all four… mocking me. i did just as i was told (per the book). i got as far as my cast ons and it looked just like it was supposed to. ok.. i can do this. first row, knit. ok. well, there goes my number 1 needle, loose. is this right? i don’t know. so, off came the yarn and i threw the stupid needles in my bag. second go round. this time, i couldn’t even get the stupid thing casted on. piece of crap. i am deteremined. all i want is to do little ones for mia’s little feet. by tonight, i will have a tube. hell or highwater. well, maybe by tomorrow. i’m seriously DPN challenged.
